Introduction to the Journal "Textile Accessories"
"Textile Accessories" (bimonthly) was founded in 1974. It serves as a platform for scientific and technical personnel engaged in the development of new textile accessory products, research and selection of new technologies, and application, providing opportunities for learning, discussion, and exchange of scientific research and production practices. It is the only national comprehensive scientific and technological journal in the textile accessory industry. "Textile Accessories" is jointly sponsored by the China Textile Information Center, the China Textile Machinery Association, and Shaanxi Textile Accessories Research Institute Co., Ltd. It is edited and published by the National Textile Accessories Science and Technology Information Center and Shaanxi Textile Accessories Magazine Co., Ltd. The magazine primarily reports on theoretical research, technological achievements, production practices, technological innovations, scientific management of textile accessories both domestically and internationally, as well as experiences in the reasonable matching, selection, use, maintenance, and repair of textile accessories. It serves as a reference for leaders, scientific and technical personnel, and management cadres at all levels within the industry. It is also an important source of information for teachers and students in colleges and universities to understand the development of textile accessories. "Textile Accessories" serves as a literature source for the "ChinaInfo Digital Journal Group", a statistical source journal for the "China Academic Journal Comprehensive Evaluation Database (CAJCED)", a literature source for the "China Journal Full-text Database (CJFD)", a literature source for the "China Core Journal (Selection) Database", a literature source for the "China Academic Journal (CD-ROM Edition)", a literature source for the "China Journal Network", a literature source for the "Chinese Science and Technology Journal Database", a literature source for the "China Textile Abstracts", and a literature source for the "Textile Accessories Information Network". It is an excellent journal in accordance with the CAJ-CD standard and an outstanding journal in the national textile industry. In 2007, "Textile Accessories" successfully passed the national journal publishing format standard inspection initiated by the State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television, entering the list of qualified journals for national journal publishing format standards published by China Press and Publication. It has been continuously rated as an excellent or distinctive journal by the Shaanxi Science and Technology Journal Editing Society. The National Textile Accessories Technology Information Center and Shaanxi Textile Accessories Magazine Co., Ltd. have been dedicated to publishing the scientific and technological journal "Textile Accessories", disseminating information about the textile industry, and revising national and industry standards for textile accessories for many years. As the sole national comprehensive scientific and technological journal in the textile equipment industry, "Textile Equipment" has been adhering to its founding mission since its inception in 1974: "to serve China's economic construction wholeheartedly, to serve the manufacturing and application of textile equipment, to actively disseminate new technologies in the textile industry, to recommend new products, and to promote technological progress in textiles." II. Regarding new media
With journals as its core, the new media of textile equipment has established a multi-platform and multi-form three-dimensional communication matrix integrating "traditional paper media + new media". It serves as an important platform for industry technology exchange, information sharing, and service docking, as well as a crucial window for information dissemination and technical services in the textile equipment and accessories industry.
The new media of textile accessories has currently formed a dissemination system centered around the official WeChat account "Textile Accessories Online", encompassing multiple platforms such as video accounts, Jinri Toutiao accounts, the Textile Accessories Information Network, and electronic journals. As of July 2025, the official WeChat account has nearly 20,000 followers and over 5,000 regular readers, with more than 4,000 posts accumulated. The content format has expanded from the early single graphic and text to diverse forms such as audio, H5 scene shows, and short videos, meeting the needs of different readers. The video account has over 2,000 followers and has released nearly 600 original videos, with a total playback of nearly one million times, forming a characteristic content of "technical analysis + case demonstration". The Jinri Toutiao account has nearly 3,000 followers and a total reading (playback) volume of over 890,000 times. The electronic journals are simultaneously pushed through platforms such as Bokanwang, the official WeChat account, and the Textile Accessories Information Network, providing convenient knowledge acquisition channels for industry practitioners.

III. Regarding Standards
The Secretariat of the Textile Accessories Subcommittee of the National Technical Committee on Textile Machinery and Accessories Standardization (referred to as the Textile Accessories Subcommittee) is affiliated with Shaanxi Textile Accessories Research Institute Co., Ltd., with specific tasks undertaken by Shaanxi Textile Accessories Magazine Co., Ltd. Shaanxi Textile Accessories Research Institute Co., Ltd. was formerly the Textile Accessories Research Office of the former Ministry of Textile Industry, established in 1964. In 1974, it formed the Information and Standards Group to carry out centralized standardization work. In 2009, the Textile Accessories Subcommittee was officially established. With over 50 years of deep involvement in the field of standardization, it has successively received honors such as the "Advanced Collective in Textile Standardization Work during the Eleventh Five-Year Plan and the Twelfth Five-Year Plan" from the China National Textile and Apparel Council, and the third prize of the "Light of Textile" 2018 Science and Technology Progress Award from the China National Textile and Apparel Council.
The standardization work for textile equipment primarily revolves around establishing a comprehensive framework for the technical standard system of textile equipment, conducting pre-research on standard projects, proposing and applying for projects, formulating and revising national and industry standards, and reviewing international standards, national standards, and industry standards. Currently, the Textile Equipment Branch is responsible for managing 55 national standards and 108 industry standards.
To enhance the level of industry standardization, the Textile Accessories Branch adheres to the annual meeting system, organizes key enterprises to participate in standardization work, disseminates standardization knowledge, cultivates professional talents, and always takes it as its mission to promote technological upgrading in the industry and enhance product quality. It prioritizes the acceleration of the development of a standardized talent team, striving to establish a virtuous cycle of "implementation → feedback → improvement", and leading the industry towards professional and standardized development!
