On December 2nd, Shaanxi Textile Science Research Institute Co., Ltd. successfully held its 2025 academic exchange event and technical speech competition. As the first academic event of the Textile Science Institute after completing resource integration and embarking on a new journey of "secondary entrepreneurship", the event received positive responses from all departments of the institute, with 13 participants competing on the same stage, consolidating solid innovative momentum for the high-quality development of the Textile Science Institute.
Xu Yuanzhi, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Institute, stated in his speech that this event is a characteristic activity inherited by the Textile Science Institute for many years, and is also an important measure to implement the innovative development strategy and build a platform for communication and talent cultivation. He put forward three hopes to all attendees: to adhere to the original academic aspiration and deeply cultivate the profession, to promote cross-border integration with an open attitude, and to always have the ambition of progress and practical responsibility. The academic papers collected for this event cover a wide range of topics, including intelligent textiles, medical and health materials, testing technology, human resources, and other fields. At the competition venue, 13 contestants took the stage one by one, covering topics such as material research and development, process improvement, detection technology, and the combination of AI and human resources. They not only demonstrated their profound accumulation in their respective professional fields, but also demonstrated their solid professional skills and good expression literacy. This competition adopts a comprehensive evaluation method of "academic paper+technical speech". The experts of the technical committee of the institute follow the principles of "fairness, impartiality, and professionalism", and quantitatively score the academic value of the paper, the expression effect of the speech, and the practical value of the results. After fierce competition, one first prize, two second prizes, three third prizes, and seven excellent prizes were finally selected.
After the competition, Su Litao, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, General Manager, and Director of the Technical Committee of the Institute, commented on the event. He first gave full recognition to the activity, pointing out that among the participating papers, the review type papers have a comprehensive literature review and contain forward-looking industry thinking, while the research-oriented papers have outstanding innovation and scientific and rigorous experimental design, fully demonstrating the innovative vitality and professional competence of the employees.
